OnePlus – ensuring the launch strategy from the last year, 2022 – has announced its new flagship device in China ahead of a global launch. That means we have a complete image of the device added a month before its broadcast during its international event launch in India in February 2023.
The Oneplus 11 5G is precisely what we expected it would be following weeks or months of leaks and rumors. Looking for the tech sheet – it has arrived. This is the company’s ‘Pro’ smart device in all but the title.
It hums all the right flagship smart device notes, which means the Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 platform ensures the smartphone is rapid and robust. Therefore, keeping to OnePlus’ initial idea of building “fast and smooth” smartphones.
That sits alongside up to 16GB RAM, optimized using a OnePlus-improved RAM management system to offer responsive and fluid performance while playing games or multitasking.
Things have been so boosted on the screen side, too, with OnePlus using Gen 3 LTPO screen. It offers up to 120Hz refresh rates and modifying capabilities. Thus, it can rapidly adjust refresh rates on behalf of what your need for the app or game actuality used and – in doing so – preserve the battery. That’s built on a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a “2K” resolution and 10-bit color depth.
Cameras have been improved, with the triple camera system led by 50-MP Sony IMX980 primary sensors. There’s also a 48-MP ultrawide camera and a 32-MP “portrait lens,” with all three built into a significant, circular protrusion on the back of the device.
This latest design language has, of course, been shared by One Plus before and marks a massive change in the direction of the brand, which has, in a few years, used minimally designed square and rectangular designs of the devices.
It would only be a flagship OnePlus phone with fast charging speeds, so it’s no surprise we see the upcoming iteration of SuperVOOC in place here too. The 100W SuperVOOC charging will make very light work on topping up the 5000mAh power battery.
The OnePlus 11 5G goes on sale in China on 9 January and will be announced for other global markets during an event held on 7 February 2023 in New Delhi, India. We’ll get more details on the cost, colors, and storage variants for different places.

The OnePlus 11 is launching very soon, and the latest image shows the real-life handsets in a trade setting.
OnePlus has been steadily teasing the latest smartphone ahead of 4 January 2023 will get announced in its home country of China. Still, now it looks like the brand is more ready than ever, with leaked images showing trade models in what arrived to be a store of some sort.
The images give us our best appearances yet at what actual OnePlus 11 smartphones will look like, along with confirmation of that huge camera bump around the back of the device.
While the hardware characteristics of the OnePlus 11 are yet to be confirmed, we’re confident it will ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 chip at its heart. Further attached by a 5,000mAh mega battery with 100W rapid fast charge capabilities.
Around the back, triple cameras will be headlined by a 50-MP primary camera. In addition, we can expect a 48-MP ultrawide and 32-MP telephoto camera for the back bump. The selfie camera setup on the side is a 16-MP with a 6.7-inch 1440×3216 Super AMOLED display, with 120Hz fast rates.
All of that should be made official very soon, and presumptions are already great for a smartphone that is expected to come with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. We want to learn more about a global release on 7 February 2023.
